This is based on a novel of the same name written by Joseph Kanon. Cate will play Lena Brandt and her costars include George Clooney and Tobey Maguire. Directed by Steven Soderbergh. The film takes place in Post WWII Germany -- an American reporter is sent to cover the final Allied summit meeting of World War II. The reporter is secretly there to search for a lost love and ends up getting tangled up in a murder mystery when a body washes ashore.
